Am I Pregnant? TTC for 5 months :(?

Last month my period was 4 days late.My period was supposed to come on the 25th. i had extremely light spotting for about 3 days, very irregular to my heavy period. so just today i took a test....Negative :( i thought it would be enough time for a bfp. but no luck. i ovulated this month on the 11. and for the past four days my really hurt. Could i be pregnant? Im tired of being disappointed :( It really brings me down.
